Born and raised on the Southwest side of San Antonio, Danny brings 18 years of deep-sector experience to every job site. Coming from a large military family, he operates Renew & Renovate Services with the core values of discipline, integrity, and service.
Danny’s journey started with a dream, a handful of tools, and a relentless work ethic. He spent nearly two decades working for the region’s luxury remodeling giants, mastering the high-end standards of home renovation before taking the leap into independent contracting. He has spent years strategically investing in professional-grade equipment that allows Renew & Renovate to operate as a true "one-stop-shop" for complex residential transformations.
For Danny, the business is personal. As a father of three and a devoted husband, he views every home he enters as an asset for another family’s future. His ultimate goal? Building a company defined by such high standards and community trust that it serves as a launching pad for his children’s own bright futures.
Danny Sr.

Daniel Bernal Sr. brings a lifetime of foundational discipline and high-level operational expertise to Renew & Renovate Services. A veteran who entered military service immediately following high school, Daniel Sr. built his career on a bedrock of precision, work ethic, and strategic planning.
Before co-founding Renew & Renovate, he spent decades at the helm of truck dispatching management for one of America’s premier oil refining and logistics corporations. Rising to the top of a demanding, high-stakes industry, he mastered the art of complex logistics—a skill set he now applies to ensure that every Renew & Renovate project is staged, supplied, and executed with surgical timing.
As a longtime resident of Alamo Ranch, Daniel Sr. has a firsthand understanding of the standards and expectations of San Antonio’s middle-to-upper-class homeowners. He is the architect of the firm’s "Surgical Logistics" model, ensuring that the aggressive work ethic and military discipline he instilled in his son, Danny, are reflected in every administrative and operational detail of the company.
Karla
Client relations officer & lead design constultant
Karla is the creative pulse and organizational anchor of Renew & Renovate Services. As our Lead Design Consultant, she specializes in translating client dreams into executable aesthetic plans. Whether it’s selecting the perfect palette or sourcing high-end finishes, Karla’s eye for detail ensures every project has a sophisticated, curated feel.
A "straight shooter" by nature, Karla handles the firm’s administration and client communications with total transparency and a vibrant energy that makes the renovation process enjoyable rather than stressful. She is the bridge between our field operations and the client’s vision, ensuring that every project stays on schedule and every detail meets her high standards for beauty and function.
When she isn't refining design boards or managing project logistics, Karla is a devoted "family-first" mom of three. Her love for her family and her vibrant, neighborly spirit are the foundation of our company’s culture.
Rico
field operations lead & founding partner
Rico is the foundational pillar of Renew & Renovate Services. As a founding member of the team, he has been an unwavering advocate for the company’s vision since the very first tool was purchased. With a specialized background as a Framing Foreman, Rico brings a deep understanding of residential "bones," ensuring that every renovation is built on a structurally sound and level foundation.
In his role as Field Operations Lead, Rico serves as the strategic right hand to our founder, Danny B. He manages the essential pulse of our active job sites—overseeing complex material logistics, supply chain deliveries, and site-wide debris management to maintain the "surgical cleanliness" our clients expect.
More than a tradesman, Rico is the grounding force of our field operations. His commitment to the Renew & Renovate dream and his ability to provide objective, disciplined feedback during the high-stakes phases of a project ensures that our team remains focused, efficient, and true to the client's original vision.
